Whereas Mixing is done to unite all the stems into a cohesive stereo track, Mastering gives the final touch to your music. With our mastering services, from our studio located in the heart of Paris, we apply the parameters required by the streaming platforms and perform any needed improvement to make your music perfect and ready for release.
Mastering is the final stage of the song recording process. It is time to achieve commercial loudness and add any final touches of brightness, warmth, or bass to the song. Mastering is the icing on the cake.
Micro Mastering allows us to do the same thing as in Macro Mastering but with more details. When choosing a stems master, you send up to 5 tracks of your mix, usually Drums, Bass, other Instrumentals, and Vocals. We then can process a standard Stereo master with the ability to make the drums hit a bit harder or make the vocal just a bit louder. It’s a great option if you aren’t 100% happy with your mix (if it was mixed by someone else than Hypnomania Records).
