About Hypnomania Records Mixing Services
Let’s start at the beginning. These days, generally, you bought a beat from a producer, and then you found a topline (melody) and you wrote your lyrics. After that, you went to the studio to record your vocals and finally you’ve sent your vocals and your beat to the Mixing Engineer.
So then it’s time to make that beat+vocals feel like a song, rather than a loose affiliation of parts and tracks. This is where the Mixing Engineer comes in. It’s their job to balance all the tracks and do whatever it takes to make them feel like a solid, cohesive song.
With tools like EQ, compression, panning, and reverb at their disposal, Mixing Engineers reduce clashes between instruments, tighten grooves, and emphasize important song elements. Mixing Engineers add all sorts of crazy effects when necessary: reverb, delay, modulation, pitch FX, and anything that serves the purpose. The purpose being to serve the emotional impact of the song—to bring it to life.
Once the track is “Mixed”, it is considered as ready to be sent to the “Mastering Engineer” for the “Mastering” process.
Yes please, as the rules of art dictate, you need to add the following mention within the description of your YouTube video, and within your Social Media posts related to the song: “Mixed by Hypnomania Records”.
N.B:
If the song was also Mastered by me, you need to add the following sentence instead: “Mixed & Mastered by Hypnomania Records”
About Hypnomania Records Mastering Services
A Mastering Engineer is the last line of defense before your Song, EP, album, or Mixtape become public and shared with the world. A Mixing Engineer can balances ten, twenty, or hundred tracks into a single song, one that sounds great in THEIR studio with THEIR monitors (speakers). Mastering Engineers work with a single stereo track, and they do everything in their power to make this track shine on every conceivable playback system (car speakers, headphones, laptop speakers, etc.), and this doesn’t mean simply making it as loud as possible.
Their goal is often translational and relational: they want to make each song fit with every other song in the project. They also aim to make your entire project compete with similar songs by established Artists in the genre (using reference tracks). For the final QC (Quality Control) pass, they might use the best headphones they can afford to catch any artifacts before the song goes to market.
Finally, an important role of the Mastering Engineer is to make your song compliant with the technical specification of all Streaming Platforms, so your song can be accepted for distribution in these platforms and avoid rejection.

About Hypnomania Records Mashup Services
Yes, it’s 100% legal on YouTube, usually you can freely upload and use the Mashup we’ve done for your song, on your own YouTube Channel. There are some rare Artists who don’t allow this, in this case we will know it before doing your Mashup, and we will contact you in order that you choose another song. In all cases, there is no risk involved on your YouTube Channel (no copyright strike). Artists allow using their songs because they can run ads on your Mashup video.
You should not have only a short-term/direct benefit approach. There are many long term/indirect benefits (opportunities are endless, you have just to let your imagination do the work):
– A Mashup with a very popular Artist will surely give you more and more visibility on YouTube and Social Media, almost as if you’ve done a featuring with this Artists (trust me, I do it and I can see the difference!). Also, don’t forget that people on YouTube look for “Drake”, “Travis Scott” or “The Weeknd” more than they look for your Artist name lol
– If you have a small YouTube Channel, the original Artist will not really earn from the Ads they run on your video, but you, you will really profit from their fame and fanbase!
– In case the original Artist you’ve done the Mashup with is a medium or small one (but one that you would like to collab with): if this Artist watched your Mashup and liked it, he can then get in touch with you for a “real” featuring this time (or you can do it by providing the Mashup as an example).
Nope, this is illegal.
No, not all Artist/Song can be a candidate for a Mashup:
– For Artist choice: You can choose Artists that you like or who inspire you, with a minimum coherence between your genre and these Artists’ genre (for example, generally, A Rock Artist with a Jazz Artist Mashup can be a real mess, except some very very specific cases)
– For Songs choice: Both your own song and the song(s) you’ve chosen to Mashup with shall be in the same Key and be relatively close in term of Tempo.
Once you’ve purchased a “Mashup for your songs” Package (for example: “Mashup Gold” Package), you will receive a detailed and simple explanation of the easy steps to follow to find your favourite songs compatible with your own song.
Of course, we have foreseen a specific offer for this case (cf. “Bronze” or “Silver”) offers on my “Mashup For Your Songs” page, under the “Services” tab. In this case you will provide us the audio file of your song, and at the end we will send you the audio file of the Mashup.
Once We have received the file and all the necessary information about the chosen song(s), we will deliver the mashup to you under 3 to 5 days since the moment you’ve purchased the service.
